Watch case sizing

Case diameter is measured in millimetres (mm), excluding the crown. The right size balances your wrist circumference with personal style — dressier watches wear smaller, sport and dive watches wear larger.

Lug-to-lug (the distance across the case from top to bottom lug) matters as much as diameter — it should not overhang the edges of your wrist. Also check thickness (slim ≈ 7–10 mm dresses easily under a cuff) and water resistance for your use.

A comfortable, secure wig starts with the right cap size. Measure your head with a soft tape and match it to the chart below.

Circumference

Around the hairline — forehead, above the ears, to the nape and back.

Front to nape

From your front hairline straight back to the nape of your neck.

Ear to ear

Across the top of your head from the top of one ear to the other.

Most of our wigs are Average with adjustable straps and combs. Choose Petite or Large if your measurement falls outside the average range.

Lengths are measured when the hair is straightened. On curly or wavy textures the hair will appear shorter.

Sizing & fit — common questions

What watch case size should I choose for my wrist?

Measure your wrist circumference and match it to the case diameter: 14–15 cm suits 34–38 mm, the versatile 15–17 cm range suits 38–42 mm, 17–19 cm suits 42–44 mm, and 19 cm+ carries 44–46 mm. Also check that the lug-to-lug distance does not overhang the edges of your wrist.

Is a 40mm watch too big for a small wrist?

Not usually. 38–42 mm is the most versatile range and works for the majority of wrists. On slimmer wrists (under 15 cm), a 34–38 mm case and a slim 7–10 mm thickness will sit more comfortably and slide under a cuff.

What does a water resistance rating actually mean?

Ratings describe static pressure, not swim depth. 30m/3ATM resists splashes only, 50m suits hand-washing and rain, 100m/10ATM is fine for swimming, and 200m+ is rated for snorkelling and diving. Never operate the crown underwater and have gaskets checked periodically.

What wig cap size should I order?

Most customers take a Medium (21.5–22.5 inch circumference), which fits the majority of adults. Order Small for a petite head (21–21.5 inch) and Large for a fuller head (22.5–23 inch). Measure around your hairline, above the ears, to confirm.

What is the difference between HD lace and transparent lace?

HD lace is the thinnest, most undetectable lace and melts invisibly into all skin tones, giving the most natural hairline. Transparent lace is slightly thicker and more durable, and stays near-invisible on lighter-to-medium skin tones.

Which hair length and density should I pick?

Length is measured straight; curly and wavy textures appear shorter once styled, so size up if you want a specific finished length. For density, 130–150% gives a natural everyday look while 150–180% delivers fuller, glamorous volume.
